Three partial scholarships for women assign the Business Education for International Economic Development /BEIED/ for its certificate program: “Marketing Management”. The traineeship is for 6 months and begins in January 2006. The scholarships will be given to women who have a private business or finance alone their education. They will pay just 10% to 30% from the application fee, which is 2500 euro.

The Marketing Management program is especially for experienced specialist or for people on a higher carrier level. The program will be divided into 5 modules with different thematic and each module will have the duration of a month. The teaching is a combination of seminars and correspondence courses. Twice a month there will be lectures in the weekend. The traineeship is more corresponding to a training than to an academical program. The lecturers will be European, American and Bulgarian specialists who have a good experience in the business field.

The participants will be between 15 and 20. The main idea is to gather together women from different business branches, but with similar prof iles and positions. That is how a flow of information will be exchanged between the managers from the different business spheres. At the end of each program there is a course project or a multiple choice test to be done; afterwards the participants are granted with a certificate.

From next year on BEIED plans also a financial management program. The organization’s headquarter is in the United States and specializes in firms consulting.
